Two Years Older… But Still Chasing Dragons
Let’s be honest—last time around, Oliver and the team weren’t exactly the dragon slayers. The Dragon’s Back Race left its mark, quite literally. But now, two years later, he’s finally able to wear flip flops without terrifying fellow beachgoers… so naturally, it’s time for another challenge.
This year’s mission: the Fire + Ice Ultra—a 250KM race across one of the world’s most remote landscapes in Iceland. Over six brutal days, competitors must carry all their own kit, facing lava fields, glacial rivers, and volcanic ash. It’s known as one of the toughest footraces on the planet.
Why?Once again, we’re running in support of the School of Hard Knocks (SOHK)—an incredible charity helping vulnerable young people overcome adversity through sport, mentoring, and personal development.
“Some may be homeless or living in extreme poverty, and others may be victims of exploitation or abuse. There is no defining characteristic of a SOHK beneficiary—only that they’re facing adversity and need a trusted adult to turn to.”
Please follow our journey, donate if you can, and learn more about SOHK through the links below. Your support means everything.
